2024 was not an easy year for Florida Democrats — but for Team Anna, we continued to build upon our past successes to increase voter turnout and flip precincts.
Turnout in House District 42 was 1.5% higher than Orange County.
And we secured the support of GOP majority precincts.
But we didn’t just lead on the campaign trail — we maintained and grew our voter registration and empowerment operations, too.
People Power for Florida is leading the way.
Our key to success has been our commitment to year-round transformative community organizing. Since our founding, People Power for Florida has registered 16,108 people to vote. That includes 7,005 people registered this cycle, with the majority being younger, first-time voters. We activated 672 people to volunteer with us, hosted 12 youth organizing boot camps, and empowered 19 Organizing Fellows. During GOTV, we collected over 4,000 commit-to-vote cards, mobilized over 200 volunteers, and reached over 11,500 students’ doors with literature drops across 8 campuses. We sent over 850,000 text messages and made over 150,000 GOTV calls to new and young voters to get them out to vote. Our digital footprint expanded, and we ran our first-ever online and radio GOTV ads.
We did all of it by raising $704,823.65 from 714 contributions over two years.
